► For many years, CECIMO has been maintaining good relations and exchanges statistics with associations representing the machine tool sector all over the world.

CECIMO is a well-established player in the European Research Area of Manufacturing Technologies. The Technical Department of CECIMO has been active for over 10 years in European RTD projects, as partner and as co-ordinator.
Our action aims at:

► Improving the match between European research projects and the needs of our industry - CECIMO helps defining RTD projects that answer real industrial needs and show a clear potential for commercial and technical exploitation. CECIMO also enhances industrial participation into European RTD projects.

► Maximising the dissemination of the research results in the sector of machine tools - This is done mainly via the 15 National Associations represented by CECIMO and the organisation of public events in trade fairs such as EMO®, the largest fair for Machine Tools worldwide.
