CECIMO, together with 10 national associations across Europe representing over 700 additive manufacturing (AM) companies, proudly presents the Manifesto for a Competitive European Additive Manufacturing (AM) Sector!

This manifesto outlines a shared vision and strategic recommendations to position Europe as a global leader in additive manufacturing. It also marks the first milestone of a new initiative called AM-Europe, operated by CECIMO — a platform designed to represent the Additive Manufacturing sector in the EU and provide a single, united voice for the industry at the European level.

EMO HANNOVER 2025

EMO Hannover, the world’s leading trade fair for production technology, returns from September 22–26 under the motto Innovate Manufacturing. The event will present the full spectrum of the metalworking value chain and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025.

MACHINE TOOLS INNOVATION (MTI) AWARDS 2025 

The third edition of the MTI Awards will take place at EMO Hannover as part of the official programme. As the industry’s most influential event, EMO Hannover is the perfect stage to celebrate the groundbreaking achievements shaping the future of machine tools. Join us on Tuesday, 23 September, at the Forum Stage (booth A 60), Hall 12, from 16:15–17:30.

From 23 to 24 October 2025, CECIMO will take part in the Additive Manufacturing Congress 2025 in Munich, representing its AM Europe initiative at this leading international platform for exchanging ideas on the latest developments in additive manufacturing.

OECD SYMPOSIUM ON “SIMPLIFYING FOR SUCCESS”

From 17 to 1 November, CECIMO will join the high-level OECD Symposium on “Simplifying for Success “ in Paris.

CECIMO will attend Formnext, taking place from 18 to 21 November in Frankfurt. During that week, we will promote our AM-Europe initiative, organise presentations and host policy roundtables.

Workshop Industrial Ramstein: Ensuring Large-Scale Modernisation and Recovery of Ukraine’s Industry


In July, CECIMO, represented by UCIMU, participated in the “Industrial Ramstein: Ensuring Large-Scale Modernization and Recovery of Ukraine’s Industry” workshop, organised by Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. The event highlighted the role of Europe’s manufacturing sector in supporting Ukraine’s recovery through modern, efficient, and digitalised industrial solutions.

EARASHI & JARVIS JOINT CONFERENCE AT EMO HANNOVER 2025

As manufacturing evolves at a steady and rapid pace and AI, robotics and automation become increasingly prevalent in day-to-day operations, we are witnessing and participating in a shift in factories and manufacturing across the board. This transition is occurring not only at the level of manufacturing facilities but also in the manner in which businesses maintain their competitive edge and the way we approach work.

Open Call 1: JARVIS Bootcamp

On 1 September, the JARVIS consortium hosted its first online bootcamp, bringing together all Open Call 1 pilot projects and partners. The event marked the start of collaboration and mentoring activities to test AI-driven human-robot interaction in real industrial use cases.
