CECIMO FALL MEETINGS

The CECIMO Fall Meetings took place in Brussels, Belgium, on 30 November and 1 December 2022. The two days programme was centred around different events where we debated advanced manufacturing, AI, cybersecurity and macro-economic trends.
EVENT OVERVIEW
Wednesday 30 November
In the morning, the Board meeting took place. The official kick-off of the Fall meetings was marked by the high-level conference named ‘’Advanced Manufacturing – Leading the digital transformation in the EU’’. The conference was a great opportunity to exchange views with policymakers on Europe’s industrial and competition policy, which is essential for the development of the digital and innovative industry of the future.
Right after, two interactive sessions took place in parallel to debate on current sensitive issues for our sector such as: ‘’Cybersecurity for the manufacturing sector’’ and ‘’Artificial Intelligence – A game changer for the manufacturing industry’’.
The Cocktail Reception followed by the Welcome dinner took place at the Center of Fine Arts Bozar.
Thursday 1 December
The last day of the CECIMO Fall Meetings started with the Economic Committee meeting that provided members with insights into the challenges currently faced by European and global economies. The General Assembly took place afterwards. The two-day programme was concluded with a farewell lunch.
