CECIMO signed the “Joint Declaration for an ambitious EU industrial strategy”

Brussels, 16 February 2017 - CECIMO signed the “Joint Declaration for an ambitious EU industrial strategy”, together with other trade associations representing various manufacturing sectors.

The Joint Declaration aims at drawing attention to the considerable challenges that the manufacturing sector is facing. Even though the European manufacturers contribute significantly to the European economy and society, they need the European Commission to help them remaining a competitive industrial power at the global level. The Declaration calls on the European Commission to reaffirm its commitment to the industrial policy and to adopt an Action Plan facing European manufacturers’ challenges.
