Hack the crisis: #EUvsVirus
The European Commission will host a pan-European hackathon from 24 to 26 April 2020. An online hackathon will bring together civil society, innovators, partners, and investors across Europe in order to find the best solutions to fight coronavirus and provide support to our citizens.
CECIMO joined the action in order to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for coronavirus-related challenges.
The Hackathon is structured around categories of problems that need short-term solutions in relation to coronavirus health and life, business continuity, remote working and education, social & political cohesion, digital finance and an open category for other challenges.
The #EUvsVirus is a call to action to all citizens around the world to come together in time of crisis and to find solutions to emergencies caused by COVID-19.
The European Commission, in close collaboration with all member States and the participating H2020 associated countries, will provide a follow up to the best projects coming from the #EUvsVirus hackathon through the new European Innovation Council (EIC) Covid platform.
