About the event

Europe is a world leader when it comes to advanced manufacturing (AM), delivering the tools for other sectors to produce and deliver products to their customers. This also includes helping them with their digital and green transformations. To maintain this leadership, Europe needs to value, invest and enable its further growth. In the context of the Industrial Forum, a dedicated discussion is taking place on putting forward such use cases, discuss the challenges and opportunities and help industries and policy makers to take the right actions.

This session featured an interactive debate between speakers representing parts of the AM industry. They discussed:

  • Why AM is crucial for Europe’s wider economy,
  • Give examples of steps taken by companies to adopt and integrate new technology in the production chain processes
  • Necessary improvements to increase the deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies
  • How to get engaged in the Industrial Forum discussion on AM
