AM Europe at EMO Hannover 2025

26 September 2025

The AM-EUROPE Initiative, representing more than 700 additive manufacturing (AM) companies across Europe, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Canada Makes at EMO Hannover.

The agreement is designed to reinforce cooperation, boost the global additive manufacturing ecosystem, and support innovation, skills development, research, and advocacy. It also aims to build stronger links between European and Canadian AM value chains while enhancing the sector’s international visibility.

This partnership reflects a shared ambition to drive the global development of additive manufacturing and create new opportunities for industry players worldwide.

In addition, during EMO Hannover 2025, members of the AM-EUROPE Initiative held their first kick-off meeting, which focused on setting out the next steps, plans, and goals of the initiative. Key priorities included developing a roadmap to guide future activities, fostering a favourable business environment for growth and innovation, and positioning AM-EUROPE as a central platform for sharing best practices, strengthening cross-border collaboration, and promoting knowledge exchange among companies, research centres, and policymakers.
