CECIMO welcomes the new Circular Economy Action Plan

In December 2019, the European Commission launched a very ambitious plan: the “EU Green Deal”. The aim is to be the world’s first climate neutral continent by 2050.

The deal will be the main priority of the European Commission. It will go hand-in-hand with the EU industrial policy and the circular economy action plan. These two strategies will be adopted together in March 2020.

CECIMO has been committed to sustainability and circularity for a long time now. Therefore, CECIMO welcomes the open consultation for feedback on the roadmap for the new Circular Economy action plan. We responded to the consultation, confirming the importance of recycling and reuse of products in the EU.
