Filip Geerts to address key B2B conference on Additive Manufacturing in early February

We are pleased to announce that Mr Geerts, CECIMO Director General, will speak at the “Inside 3D Printing” conference in Düsseldorf (Germany) on 3 February 2017. The conference is the largest professional additive manufacturing (AM) event worldwide, with regular shows held throughout the year all over the globe. The show in Düsseldorf will gather together top-selling producers of additive systems, leading research institutes in the sector, key industrial users as well as authorities.

In a featured session, Filip Geerts will talk about challenges of the industrial uptake of this technology in Europe. He will draw attention on the results of CECIMO studies and projects on the metal segment of the market. He will also highlight specific business and policy barriers that may hamper the further deployment of AM methods on Europe’s shop floors.
